Walking through hell Days 10, 11, and 12 - تیرے بنا

Not a whole lot has gone on over the course of the past couple of days; it was for the most part more of the same: wake up, study, go to the gym, get back and study some more, think about her and life and how it all just seems to be caving in and then finally go to sleep.

The main highlight was me talking to a couple of seniors in the US who are doing their residencies and trying to gauge how much of an impact me failing medicine would have on my prospects of landing into an IM residency, turns out it's next to zero. The main thing that determines 99% of a residency applicant's competitiveness is the step 2. I am done watching almost half of all of the medicine bnb videos and will probably be done with all of bnb over the course of the next 10 or so days. So yeah my step 2 prep is still not where I ideally would've wanted it to be but I guess something's better than nothing right?

Another thing worth mentioning was me going out to burger lab in JT with Nauman yesterday and partying off with the 10k that Nauman's grandmother had given him to give to his younger brother, which he conveniently chose to pocket for himself. Anyways the burger was BOMB and certainly beats my all time favorite, DD's Messy.

A failure and a heartbreak

Before Friday the 26th of April 2024 never in the entirety of my 23 years of exsistence on the face of this planet earth had I ever academically failed a subject. When all's said and done

There are some heartbreaks that don’t burn - they linger. They don’t scream - they hum.
